We were looking for a house to purchase in May this year 2006.

Before we found Mike, we were living in rented accommodation and were promised a "buy back scheme" by our landlord at the time. Unfortunately we were deceived and ripped off!

We made contact with Mike via his online application process with Home Options Limited to see if he was able to assist us. Mike reviewed our case and made contact within 24 hours of the applications submission. He then came around to our residence in person to talk business and various options we could use. Of course we were very hesitant at first because of the promises made by our previous landlord. Mike was very reassuring and showed us the figures and the contracts he uses. We went through them step by step and he explained each clause to us so that we could fully understand the way we would be in a position to be able to apply for a loan with the lending institutions in 18 months. This was great as we would be living in a house that will soon be ours and with legal documentation it was a 'win win' situation!

We told Mike the sort of house we wanted and he showed us 3 or 4 that we could afford, based on our current salaries. Number 4 was the one, very happy with the home and location! Please note you will find that it may not be the home of your dreams, however it would be your first home and it only gets better. We have been living in this house now for 8 months now and we are paying off our loans as fast as we can and we are currently in a position to be able to purchase the property before the 18 months. The rent credits are going towards the house purchase price and will be used by us as the deposit on the property, also note the credit system is very attractive to a lender. We also decided to increase our payments knowing that there would be more credit available for us, which will enable us to "fast track" the deposit required to get a conventional loan.

We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Mike Reeves - Home Options Limited if you are looking for a house to purchase on a Lease Option and can't quite get there with the banks. He has proved to be very considerate, trustworthy and helpful. He has treated us with the greatest respect and is more than happy to give us advice whenever we need it on financial matters and ideas with improving our credit rating. With Mike's assistance and the Lease Option system we are confident that we will be able to buy our home a lot sooner than any other avenue would have allowed.

Update: August 2007.

Ivan and Vanessa purchased this property in July 2007. The agreed purchase price (Lease Option price) was $280,000.00. On settlement, a new registered valuation was issued for $300,000.00 - effectively giving Ivan & Vanessa an EQUITY GAIN of $20,000.00. The lending institution was happy to arrange a mortgage for them based on the house price increase and proof that they could afford the repayments.

Ivan & Vanessa would never had been in a position to purchase, had they not taken up a Lease Option.


Lease option in Papakura.
October 2007.

We were looking to purchase a house in the Papakura area, whilst checking out the real estate
on the Internet we came across Home Options.

This Company is run by Mike Reeves. We downloaded the forms and by simply filling these
out with all relevant details faxing them off to him. Within a few days we were contacted by
Mike. Our situation was explained to him and as he had no houses in the Papakura area to
offer us he told us to find a house that we liked and if it met his criteria then he would consider
the purchase.

We located the house that we wanted and after Mike inspecting it he entered into negotiations
with Vendors and the Real Estate Co. Our house was purchased by Mike and we are happy
in our New Home.

Throughout the whole procedure Mike kept us informed and explained all details regarding the
deposit that we needed and what our repayments would be.

Mike was professional throughout this and disclosed every detail to us. He gave us time to
consult with lawyers/solicitors if we wanted and would only sign the relevant agreements,
once we were fully satisfied with the terms.

We would not have been able to purchase the house we wanted through other
lending/finance institutions due to our situation. Mike is working with us to make this possible
at the time that we will fully take over the finance for ourselves. We are looking at 12 months
time being able to fully take over the finance of our home.

The Home Options scheme has worked for us and has positive benefits for people wanting
to own their own home but are having difficulties with banks and other institutions.
